Gradient Nails

Hi!

This week's nail art has been inspired by Tyeisha from the Lacquernerd (see her post)

I don't have much to say about this mani -- it's pretty simple and was very easy and fast to do (and I have to do my precalc homework and lab report, bleh).

Here's the finished product!

This photo made my hands and nails look REALLY gross... but here's my, umm, beautiful pink-blue gradient

Here it is without the striping tape -- I originally intended to not include the striping tape but it looked not-so-great without it (plus then it wouldn't seem like I was TOTALLY copying her design)

Another shot of the finished product!

This was actually my first attempt at a gradient, and it came out way better than expected! (How did I miss out on gradient nails for so long? They're so fun and quick to do!)

The striping tape, however, wasn't so easy. I probably glooped 3 coats of Seche Vite over these nails, but the ends of the striping tape refuse to stay on... any tips?

Polishes Used:
Jin Soon Coral Peony (pink for gradient)
Jin Soon French Lilac (purple for gradient)
Sally Hansen Blue Me Away (blue for gradient)
Wet n Wild Black Creme (black)

Thanks for reading!
