Nude Dotticure

Thursday, October 3, 2013

Hi!

Happy Thursday! This week on my left hand I decided to do a simple dotticure (at first I tried some nail art, but that was a complete failure... I wish I had taken photos so you could laugh at them!).

This was a really quick and simple design to do. I started with a base of Sephora by OPI Neutral Beauty, then added dots in Sephora by OPI Mood Ring (green), Sally Hansen Mellow Yellow, and Jin Soon French Lilac

What do you think of this design? Do you like the colors, or are they too mismatched? And what do you think of Neutral Beauty (I'm still undecided as to whether it's more of a nude or a brown)?

Gradient Nails

Sunday, September 8, 2013

Hi!

This week's nail art has been inspired by Tyeisha from the Lacquernerd (see her post)

I don't have much to say about this mani -- it's pretty simple and was very easy and fast to do (and I have to do my precalc homework and lab report, bleh).

Floral Nails

Monday, August 26, 2013

Hi!

So I've kinda stopped doing Mani Thursdays, my schedule is just too erratic to have nails to post every Thursday *sigh* But oh well, as long as I keep producing nail art I'll be happy!

Speaking of which, I was NOT happy at our soccer tournament this weekend. We played four 90-minute games over the weekend, lost all of them, and in the last game I strained my hamstring (ALWAYS remember to warm up before you start sprinting around!!). But, to look on the bright side, I had to sit around and ice it for a while, which gave me an excuse to do my nails! On to the nail polish!

Today I did a floral nail skittlette design:

And since I thought the flowers were pretty cool, here's a closeup of my thumb:

Not much to say about this... it was very fun to do and I'm pleased with the result! (I wish I had done something else for the pinky though, it looks a little weird)

Polishes Used:
Deborah Lippmann Glitter and Be Gay (glitter)
Jin Soon French Lilac (dark pink)
Sally Hansen White On (white)
Sephora by O.P.I. Neutral Beauty (tan)
Sephora by O.P.I. It's Totally Karma (green)
Sephora by O.P.I. Read My Palm (darker green on the thumb)
Wet n Wild Black Creme (black)
Wet n Wild Tickled Pink (pale pink)

P.S. I think I'm finally getting my photos to look a little more professional... I'm getting better at posing my hand, at least :D
