Wet n Wild On a Trip Swatches & Review

Thursday, January 9, 2014

Hi!

I rarely do swatches, but sometimes I do! (wow, that sounded unimpressive)

Back in the old days, when I had longish nails!

This is Wet n Wild On a Trip, a lovely eggplant color.

Application was good (it could've been a one-coater) and it had an awesome shine without top coat. Dry time was about average. The Wet n Wild Megalasts have extra wide rounded brushes, which I like, but they might not be to everyone's taste.
(sorry, I'm not too great at the whole review thing)

The final verdict: get it! For only $1.99 it's a decent polish!

Thanks for reading,
Lucy xx

  1. Ha! Your first line made me laugh :)
Wow, your nails really were seriously long! They look beautiful.
Did you find they chipped often at that length?
I can't grow mine too long or I brutalize them at work. Enjoy your pre-work days while you can!!

    1. I'm not usually funny, but sometimes I am ;)
Thanks! They did chip a lot (especially during typing and playing sports) -- even in these photos you can see my index nail was kind of short and chipped. I'm trying to grow them out again though!
Yep, I definitely will enjoy them! (and not just because I won't chip my nails, haha!)

  4. This is a great shade on you. I have some of these WnW polishes but have not tried them yet. I think the bottles throw me. I just don't like them. But your swatch reminds me that I really need to get some of these, as they are super pretty!

    1. Thanks! Yeah, they're kind of cheap-looking (although I guess they're only $1.99 so cheap looking is OK) but they do have some great shades :)

    1. Haha thanks Alison! It didn't look that good in real life though, the photos make my skin look paler than it actually is! Thanks for the polish though :D
